Celebrity Buns

As most of you may know, I originally made Small Skivvies for my own son. He was not impressed by Disney characters, sports emblems, or even the silly Nickelodeon characters.
After seeing them on his adorable little buns, I thought, hmm... maybe I should sell these.
I had been searching for ideas of other clothing items to create for the shop. Something that someone could buy on a whim. Anyone could buy on a whim.
I know that not everyone can afford to splurge on a $40+ custom shirt... but everyone can commit to a $16 pair of fabulous Skivvies.

The original Small Skivvies on the 'original buns'.

Small Skivvies are a wonderful potty training tool and it is so fun to see your little guy (or gal) running around in these Skivvies, they are adorable!!!

Small Skivvies have been a hit since they hit the shop! I have even received quite a few orders from celebrity Mom's for their potty training tots. You can even spot one celebrity's son, in this video, running around in his Small Skivvies!

And because little ones can be, how can I say this kindly?.... um.... OBSESSIVE! I also enjoy custom creating Small Skivvies just for your _____________ obsessed child. You may fill in the blank with words such as, train, truck, clown, ball, candy, rainbow, rabbit, dog, etc... Here is a slideshow of some custom designed Skivvies...

Want to see how Small Skivvies are made? Stay tuned for a production slide-show... until then... thank you for the support. I just LOVE my customers!

Small Threads and Etsy have been all over each other lately.
Etsy appreciates Small Threads and Small Threads relies on Etsy.
It seems that every time I turn around there is a feature with some of my threads.
Thank you fans, thank you Etsy and thank you loyal customers.
Without you all I would be nothing.

Pirate Threads!

Gasparilla was first held in May 1904 in Tampa Bay, but the invasion originated on horseback instead of by boat. In years past, a US Navy ship would be attacked by small boats throwing Cuban bread and black bean soup. The Navy would respond with fire hoses but would succumb to the Ybor City Navy, and then surrender to the Alcalde of Ybor City. The sailors would be treated to an evening on the town. This was discontinued after the September 11, 2001 attacks. However, the invasion itself continues as "Capt. Jose Gaspar" and his crew of "Pirates" "attack" Tampa, surrounded by hundreds of other boaters as they sail the Gasparilla Ship through Tampa Bay,land in Downtown Tampa and "take over the city."

The Gasparilla Pirate Festival is an annual celebration held in Tampa, FL in late January and is hosted by Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla. It celebrates the apocryphal legend of Jose Gaspar, a Spanish pirate captain who operated in SW Florida. The theme is an "invasion" by Gasparilla and his men. The krewes throw beads, coins and other items while shooting blank pistols from floats during the parade. The average attendance for the event is over 400,000 people. According to the event's official website, 2003's Gasparilla parade affected an economic impact of nearly 23 million dollars to Tampa.

Etsy scares me...

...this time of year. There are some amazing spooky crafts lurking around. I happen to have created one of them. Yes, there he is, "Bony Baby" on the Etsy front page. He is in great company, isn't he?

Bony Baby seems to be a hit this year. You can find him creeping through Etsy's, The Storque, under "Halloween Party Duel: Sweet & Spooky Children's Party".
