I absolutely love to take custom orders from my fans. It is so much fun to make an idea or dream come to life. I was especially impressed by this order. I had never made a diaper bag before, but a wonderful customer, Amy, put me up to the challenge. The email below is what I call "the inspiration letter"...

We didnt find out if it's a girl or boy so it would need to be unisex..I'll just name off a few things that describe us/me maybe that will help w/ design..I love vintage and Im a New Orleans native so the fleur di lis is special to me...We love monsters..Sophia my youngest is crazy for them. You had a really cute monster onesie up for bid and she loved it!Mermaids and pirates are also loved by all in this house! We also love tatoos and one of a kind unique things.As for colors Im open...as long as we can keep it unisex I am happy! Id like to have pockets for diapers and baby stuff then a few for mommy as this will most likely be my purse too..not sure if thats really time consuming if it is then just do whatever you can. I hope I haven't overwehlmed you with all my likes..Your work is proof that you are wonderfully creative so any input would be welcome!!If you have any questions feel free to let me know:) Thanks again for making this work!!! It was a bLaSt to create! Here it is...
I was nervous sending off the creation, but this is the fabulous feedback that I received...We so totally heart our custom created diaper bag:) M is amazing..a joy to work with and stellar customer service. Her creativity overflows.. She not only designed the awesome theme but she made the bag too!!! Her attention to detail is beyond compare..she even added an extra hook for my keys and padding to the shoulder strap..only a momma would think of something like that;) She did impeccable work...pictures don't do it justice. 100% grade A bona fide work!

You know, I should make one for myself... but I seem to have a really long list of things I would like to do for myself. You make awesome bags, but you know how much work goes into it, it just seems like more fun buying someone else's creation. :]
